This quilt was made in memory of a brother lost.  A few of the shirts were his own design!   I used his sweatshirts, t-shirts and even a fleece!  Thank goodness for a quilting machine (I have a HQ 16).   Some of the sweatshirts were very thick; much thicker than anything I'd ever tried to quilt through before.   It quilted very nicely, although slower through those heavier fabrics.     As you can see, Bleu's sister loves the quilt.   That made it all worthwhile.

I think my favorite part---besides the reaction I got from her when she saw the quilt--- was the zippered pocket from the fleece.  I made sure it can still be zipped open and used. Inside I put a fabric heart;  blue of course.
