This will be a gift to my late boyfriend's nephew. The quilt is made from my boyfriend's shirts. The back has pieces of the Periodic Table of the Elements since my boyfriend was a chemist. The quilting is done with Celtic knot and Celtic cross patterns in honor of his love of anything Irish.

Carol, that looks great !!! I love the back fabric, and I love how the colors worked so wonderfully on the front. I am sure this was an emotional quilt to work on, and is going to be such a blessing in his Nephews life. It will be treasured so much !!

This quilt really caught my eye in that it is so unique. Then, when I read the fabric origins and the prospective gift, I thought "what a really, really thoughtful remembrance". I can imagine it was therapeutic to work on. But the colors and pattern were what stopped my scanning in the first place. I can picture making a scaled down version in similar color schemes for my brothers or other male friends. Thank you.
