I have been exploring stained glass applique lately. This one was made for the Perth Royal Show. All the 100% cotton fabrics and batting came from my stash and the quilt won 2nd prize!

Very pretty.  Is all your black "leading" stitching?

Thanks so much for the encouragement everyone. MaggieNae, I started with a whole piece of black cloth and appliqued each piece of patterned fabric onto the black leaving the "leading" between each piece. It's a great way to get the lead window effect.
