My quilt shop owner and long armer, actually hates scrappy quilts with a passion.  I guess I need to take a closer, more introspective look at why I insist on doing scrappy quilts....or not. :)  The orphanned block bag is now a little lighter, although not empty.  I had done the house blocks and when I went to create a setting, decided I was a few blocks short, so did some fill-ins with the impromptu trees.  All scraps, and I used the ugly fat quarters that I could never see using in anything, even in the smallest of pieces, on the back.  This was a quilt as you go, so no long armer needed to complete...it is already complete. :)

I love this.  I love the quilts with houses and trees and stuff like that.  I also like scrappy quilts and I think house quilts make great scrap quilts.  In most neighborhoods, all the houses and yards are different, so why wouldn't they be on a quilt as well??  Great job!
