Made this compass quilt in a class at the Sewing House in Ottumwa, Iowa.  First try at fusible applique and paper piecing.

Great work,I too have this pattern but a not sure of what colors to use. You picked the perfect choice of colors.

Very nice, love the colors, I am doing my first Mariner's compass quilt now, drew out the large center on paper and used the pattern for the foundation piecing.  will post when I get it finished.
