This is the first wall quilt that I actually machine quilted! I had a blast buying many different bright fabrics; fortunately I already had quite a few pieces in my stash. The background is made up of multi-square blocks; the flowers and stems are appliqued using fusible web and made secure with a machine button-hole stitching. This quilt was displayed at last year's Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild show in Upton, MA. I am thrilled that it is now in possession of one of my step-granddaughters in Pennsylvania!
