this "bag" takes two large, long zippers to make it like a bag. I also used smaller, regular-type zippers as the top edge of the two pockets. It's large (42-inches square) and can be used for a picnic tote, then spread out. zipper side down, to sit on or use as a table cover. The pattern (from Ghee's) calls for pre-quilted materials, but how boring is that? The template for the zipper placement was beyond me, so I "eyeballed" it from their picture. I also moved the straps to the outside, where the zippers are (they have them on the inside) and I really like it much better.
