This wonderful man's quilt was made by Kim and Boo at Fast Turn Quilting in Medford, OR.  My husband, Julian, and others donated the T-shirts of Drag Racing cars from the past to be used for a quilt that was donated to Champion Raceway as a prize in a drawing, the proceeds going to purchase safety equipment for the Safety truck at the drag strip.  My husband was the Safety Coordinator at that time and I gave him $10 to buy the tickets thinking that it was just a donation.  However, at the drawing, he won the quilt!  Many men at the drag strip that day wanted to buy it from him but he prized it so much that he carried it in his truck and would not let it out of his sight.  I inherited it on his death.  Now it is a memento for me.
