Amish with a Twist-BOM

My last two weekends have been consumed with the finishing kit for this quilt, including some applique along the edges.  My sewing machine did not play well with the blanket stitch on these appliques, so I ended up unsewing them and doing them all by hand.  I will really need to watch the quilting process to make certain that flowers and leaves get permenantly set, as I am not a proponent of hand stitching for heavily used items.  I am just glad to say that this is done.  The blocks were way too simple, some of the colors in this fabric line were really awful.  We were supposed to go until May, and the BOM ended in February due to lack of continued interest.  I would do the second Amish with a Twist, but not as a BOM.  Just send the fabric and directions for me to do it at my own pace, and I'd be fine.

Looks Beautiful.  I've always liked this pattern.  I'm the same way as far as the closer I am to be done with quilt the more I want it to be done.

Beautiful!!! I love this quilt and a while back looked for the kit but it was sold out everywhere.  May try to find it and make it my summer project.

Hancocks of Pedukah has an entire kit for the second installment...it looks a little more challenging than this one was.  Seriously, without the settings, the blocks in this are blah.

love the colors and being able to use more thab one block .Do you have instructions and directions. You said was easy as I'm a beginner in quilting so don't want to do something that wold be discouraging but also would teach me more than one block, Thanks so much :)

This is the entire quilt kit.  Nancy Rink doesn't have just the pattern for sale on her website.  I guess you would want to google her and see what you can find.  I can say that her patterns are definitely not free, but they are very detailed and these are very easy beginner blocks.
