This was really fun to make. I saw this on a website and it was actually a cushion but i adapted it to be a wall hanging.

The border was a fun log cabin style block and the owl was steamateamed on then zig zag stitched around to secure it.

The butterflys had lost of beads added to bring them alive.

This is absolutely adorable.  I love the colors.  What pattern, if any, did you use?  My best friend is moving, she loves owls and I would really like to make one for her as a going-away gift.  Thanks for sharing this wonderful project.

It was one that i made myself. I have also made a much simpler one just using a block border, It was so fun to make. You could do a log cabin border. The fabrics were from Riley blake they had fantastic colours.
