This was the McCall Mystery Quilt in three parts.  I had the butterfly fabric for a long time and I just knew this was the place for it.  I called it Crystal Butterfly because the purple/green/cream part looks like crystals to me.  I brought it to the LQS (Bits & Pieces in Pelham NH) for quilting because I didn't want to wrestle with something this size (72 x 72) on my sewing machine.  She did a great job too.  I chose butterfly quilt design to go with the focus fabric.  I will make this pattern again, and probably more than once; it was easy, the pieces were big enough that I didn't need to cut 80 million of them for this size quilt, and I really like the geometry that appears once you put together the blocks.
