I just finished this memory quilt made from my daughter's teeshirts and photos of her (she passed away in 2003) transferred onto fabric - for my son. It took over 7 years to complete.
This will be a gift he truly will keep close to his heart. He will know it was made with love, and be able to look and remember the sister, he once had.
As well, I am sure as this quilt came together you came to see what a beautiful gift your daughter was to you.
Well Done! I made one for my granddaughter out of her soccer shirts. These quilts are so much fun to make and pass along great memories.
Thank you for sharing. I lost my 34 year old son to leukemia 3 years ago & have struggling with ideas of how to keep his empty alive for his 3 small children. Now I have a wonderful goal - a Daddy quilt for each of them! Thank you so much. God bless you.
