Kirsten, from concept to completion it took me about 1.5 years! But I did a smaller compass to practice, and took lots of time to gather fabrics and plan. Once organized it took me probably a month or so of weekends to construct it. The hand quilting took a few months. Quilts are definitely marathons, not sprints!

Stephanie, that was exactly what we were going for! The blocks are actually yellow, but it doesn't show up too well in that photo.
