This pattern's from Elizabeth Hartman's blog. I liked the colors she used, which happened to be just right for my giftee's new apartment digs. I pulled the fabrics together myself, going a little deeper in value and stressing over getting them just right...it was outside my typical color comfort zone and way more modern than anything I'd done before. In the end, tough to give away!

Great color combinations Jen.  Don't you find that when you finish something out of your normal zone, that you have a greater feeling for it?  I know I do.  It can be hard to part with but knowing the recipient loves it makes it so worth the effort. :-)

I had a hard time finding modern blues and browns when I did this but it seems they're all over now.  I was before my time?  lol
