My First One Block Wonder

From Jane Sussman's Sunshine and Shadows fabric.  I named it "Jurassic Cabbage" because it's periwinkle (reminded me of Barney) and leafy (which made me think of the jungle along with the fact that my oldest was practicing the opening horn call of Jurassic Park's orchestra arrangement over and over).  Why "cabbage"?...the husband's take on it.  (chuckle)

What did your original fabric look like?

love it! It reminds me of a Monet piece. The one with the sun and the dark background. Beautiful. This was done with Hexagon's right? I know it's time consuming to make sure all your pieces are correct. I'll have to get a little more experienced for this one.

Somehow I missed this when you first posted it. It is gorgeous! I like how you arranged the colors and how your second border picks up on that.
