This is the top of Nicole's quilt. This is my first attempt at quilting. I used a variety of colors and fabrics and wanted it to be very visually interesting for Nicole to look at. The backside fabric is pink with little white butterflies and the binding will be a dark purple. I wanted the back colors to only be pink, purple and white because those are the colors that represent Aicardi Syndrome. Aicardi Syndrome is the rare disease that my daughter has. Although she is very limited in her abilities, is non-verbal, and non-ambulatory she brings us SO much JOY and HAPPINESS!! She is truly a blessing and our angel from heaven. :)
