This quilt is paper pieced from a kit I bought from Judy Niemeyer. The hearts in the centers of the blocks remind me of the symbol used by the House of Blues in New Orleans. Paper piecing is a great technique for getting precise points and shapes. It didn't take me long to make this quilt. It's about 54 x 60. It hangs in the bedroom and helps me wake up in the morning. A professional longarm quilter did the free-motion quilting.
