Love that Fishing

I bought fabric a couple of years ago with fish on it because I was going to make a wall quilt for my son. The problem was finding other material to add to the quilt that would be fun.  Then at the local quilt store they had this great cartoon fabric of hunting and fishing that I thought would work great for his quilt.  So finally finished and he is happy with his quilt.

What a wonderful quilt!  The cartoon panels are a hoot, and I love that you added photos to personalize this.  Can I ask if the center is a panel or did you applique the fish and the seaweed?

Thanks for the compliments, the center panel for the fish and weeds were done with Heat n Bond.  Then sewn on.  Down the road when washed the edges will get a little frayed but will give it more character I'm hoping.  The cartoon fabric is made by Willmington Prints.  (MNancy the fabric is at Colorz in Brainerd)

Sage, this is a great quilt!  It's not to often you see a fishing quilt that is not little boyish and/or to silly.  This has style and is so well done that any fisherman/woman would love to have it.  The center panel is so beautiful. Congratulations.
