This is currently my favorite quilt. I see something different in it every time depending on my mood and how the light hits it. The pattern is from the book StrataVarious.

What did you use for the backing? Just curious.
Hi Carol. I used a batik fabric for the backing so the shrinkage rate would be the same. It is a green batik with pink and yellow splotches, and sort of abstract sand dollar shapes stamped on it. This quilt spent three whole days on the design wall as I kept rearranging the squares to get the right balance and flow.
