Since my Grandson will be overseas for Christmas, I decided to make a Photo Comfort Quilt for my Daughter and Son-in-law, showing photos from babyhood through childhood and then centered with his Marine picture with a American theme. I thought while he is away they could wrap up with the quilt and a part of him will be with them. I hope they will like it. This is my first photo quilt.

Oh my goodness, this brought tears to my eyes. What a precious gift this is going to be. This quilt is simply beautiful, and I'm sure that they will cherish this for years. You did a fabulous job.

My son is a US Marine and has done 3 tours in Iraq, I know how difficult it is to have a loved one serving where there is so much unrest. There is no way to just pick up the phone and call to check on them.

Only people that have a loved one overseas and in the service can truly know how hard it is, not only this time of the year, but, everyday. I thank your son over and over  for his service also. God be with him, you and your family. I pray for all the soldiers all the time and for peace. Please try to have a Merry Christmas !
