This is my first bargello quilt. The pattern is called "Surf Song" by Eileen Wright. The back is pictured below. I quilted it with a Statler Stitcher using a wave design.
So soothing. What a large quilt to do as your first bargello. Well done. Beautiful job on the quilting. I especially love the scrolls on the border.
This is so beauitful ,wish I was brave enough to do one.I love the colors.
Barbara, This was not hard! If you can, get the surf song pattern and try it. My pattern is in the book "Twist-and-Turn Bargello Quilts." The book contains the same pattern in a wallhanging 46" x48".
Wow, Carol, this is magnificent! Who is going to be the lucky one to receive this quilt?
Very nice, love the blues. I have a new Bargello book with a blue and white quilt pattern I want to make someday. The waves look so relaxing. bj
LOVE IT!!! Amazing! You did awesome!
Beautiful!
Beautiful use of those watery colors. Bargello is fun as there are no triangles, just nice straight sewing with a billion bobbins! Gail in NH
Very nicely done. Enjoy the upcoming holiday season
Stunning! Must try a bargello!
thanx for sharing your beautiful work
What a lovely quilt! It really does make me think of the movement of waves coming up from the Antarctic and rolling onto the shore at Wellington, NZ.
I love, love, love this! It's hard to believe it's your first bargello quilt. Great job!
So so lovely, I'll never be brave enough to try one of these..
I marvel at those of you who do.
