I just made this for a former high school teacher I had whose kids I used to babysit.  She's very sick and lives really far away (another country), but she's been on my mind and I wanted her to have a reminder that even though I haven't seen her for over 30 years, I've never forgotten her.  Purple & teal are her favorite colors.  I hope this brings her comfort as she endures her treatments.

This is so pretty! I really like your choice of fabrics. The pieces with the different colored flowers add just the right touch.

Very pretty and what a wonderful thing to do, I know she will love and cherish her reminder of you. There is nothing like a quilt from someone who cares to snuggle under when you are not feeling well - I know all too well.

It's beautiful and what a wonderful thing to do. Getting a unexpected gift from someone in your past can be even more special. I bet it will bring tears to her eyes and warmth in her heart.
