When my Nephew chose his new bride I wanted to make a wedding quilt for them. My first idea was to use his favorite color & her favorite color, "marry" them and make their quilt. When I asked my nephew what his favorite color was he said it was whatever her favorite color was. He's already on the right track! Plan B - her favorite color was purple so I had to come up with an idea that would suit her and still be a little masculine. I went with a modern design. It was then quilted in silver metallic thread in a Persian theme. They absolutely love it and it graces their bed in their brand new home!
