A friend of my husband's who knew that I quilted, gave me a box of old sewing stuff that nobody in his family wanted. It was sewing stuff from his mother and grandmother. He asked me to make a small memory quilt for him from scraps in the box. I found old Sunbonnet Sue blocks and flour sack scraps and this is what I ended up with. I had restored a Nine Patch quilt top that my grandmother had made and that inspired me to put it together with the nine patch blocks.

Love Sunbonnet Sue.  Very nice little quilt, and a nice thing to do.  I have a quilt my grandmother left (but did not make) that is Sue.  I love it.
