I began teaching my daughter, Abby, to quilt at age 9.  This was her first project.  At first, we argued about her color scheme, but when it was finished, I loved her choices, and promised to never interfere again!

Great job Abby!  Love the colors and the theme.  Very good work - nice, sharp points.

IT turned out great. I've saved it to my favorites so I can share it with my granddaughter (10) when she comes over this weekend. She's doing the Craftsy Block of the month and will be finishing it in November. It's her first large quilt. She will be excited to see Abby's quilt.

Thanks for sharing.

How wonderful to see young people take an interest in quilting. You did a wonderful job Abby. Your colors are great. I let my Grandson pick his material for his quilt and believe me they didn't match but I decided it didn't matter he loved it and it was what he wanted!! LOl May you continue to enjoy this wonderful art of quilting.
