2012 Christmas Hanging

I picked up this pattern on a recent trip to the Oregon Coast. "Christmas Socks by Nancy Lee Chong" The pattern is 72" wide for a table runner. I made it smaller for a wall hanging and added some bows. I also added the free motion writing at the top.  

There is no quilting as I made the background first then appliqued the socks to all three layers and the lettering is stitched through all layers also..

Super cute. Love your fabric selection. So bright and festive. Is that metallic thread I see in the blanket stitch? And adding the bows was the perfect finishing touch. Lucky charity auction.
