My DS in southern Oregon helped design this... his fabric of choice?  Fleece ! 2 layers with batting.   He's looking forward to cooler weather so he can really enjoy its warmth!  The first shot is just the top in progress...  Here's my boy enjoying his quilt!

Awesome job, Debbie.  It's so fun when our family enjoys our creatons.  He would make a great quilt designer!

A handsome lad enjoying his handsome quilt.  I remember when you started this!  It looks great!  What are those paintings on the wall...are they from Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are?"

The monsters are actually his own creation.  He paints them on 'found' materials then sells them for a pretty decent profit.  He's told me for a while now that he's going to make me one.  I've put in a request for a quilting monster!  If I ever get it, I'll be sure to post it here!
