Birthday quilt made for my husband

I made this quilt for my husband's birthday. I chose these fabrics because his hobby is woodworking. I loved the wood grain and the hammer and nails theme. This is the first time I have tried free motion quilting -- and this is the most complex pattern I have done so far. This is the first time I have posted a picture of one of my quilts. Have only been quilting for about a year. I learned a lot from making this quilt..

Nice job, Barb! I'm glad you posted the picture. Can I ask who manufactured the fabric? I need to make a shop apron for my DH, and this line would be perfect!

Barb that quilt is absolutely stunning - I am sure your DH is in 7th heaven with the quilt - I know how mine reacts when I make one specifically for him - Very very nice.

The quilt is super! You did a great job. I had to chuckle though when I saw you have 3 bottles of antacids on the night stands. Sometimes quilting can give us tummy troubles! :)
