This quilt was started in May of 2005 as a set of practice blocks for a BOM. It was my first BOM and I was very apprehensive about just cutting into the fabric provided so on each one I made a practice block out of my stash. I actually like my practice quilt better than the original BOM! It is all hand quilted, with the background quilted in a double lattice pattern. I completed it in August, 2012.
