As soon as I saw the picture of this quilt in  Quilts and More (Spring 2012), I knew I was going to make it for a young friend who was expecting her first baby. It went together very quickly, and was a great project for a first quilt- it gave me some much-needed confidence.  I used dark and light brown and dark and light green, to match the nursery colors. It finished out at about 60" square; I backed it with unbleached muslin, which was also used as the background fabric for the pinwheels. The binding was done in strips of the same fabrics as the triangles.

Great job.  Good points and use of scraps for binding.  Nicely done.  Keep it up, not that you're not already hooked now.
