I made this quilt for my husband when he retired from Northwest Airlines. I used Elenor Burns pattern Tennessee Waltz, and designed the planes and tails for the boarders.
Bet he is happy with that...very nice work...
Awesome! When I first saw this on the show and tell page, I thought "Gee, Dad woulda liked that..." Then when I read the source of your inspiration, I understood why it tickled my brain. Dad worked for Northwest, too.
