Gary and Sharon Blackshear are very dear friends of mine and it was such a treat to give Gary's dad his Quilt of Valor.  Gary said it was only the second time he'd ever seen his dad cry!   Here's a quick video clip of it if you'd like to see it....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVeIfYOet6U it's only about a minute long.  and YES that man is 80!!! lol and he still fly's his own plane, does pilates, and plays tennis twice a week! I don't know how he does it!

This is gorgeous!! I would love to be able to make one this beautiful for my dad! I've been collecting fabric for over a year now. But I could never come up with anything this amazing!! You should be very proud of this work of art!!!
