I made this quilt for my husband who served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1985 and for both my sons Ryan who served from 2009-2012 and Tyler who is currently serving in Afghanistan.
Wonderful tribute to your family, very nice
What a great quilt.
What a great quilt and family keepsake.
what a wonderful celebration of their service.
well, thank your family for me, for their service. this is a nice quilt to memorialize their service.
What a creative, thoughtful way to pay tribute to your loved ones who serve their country! It is beautiful.
Wow!!! Gave me goosebumps (Army veteran myself). Did you design the panels or is this an available fabric? Does your husband left anyone sleep under this one?
Thank you all for your comments. I bought this fabric as 3 panels and then cut them apart and added the border fabrics.
Debra, no he won't even sleep under it. As a matter of fact this past week in Madison, WI I bought a type of quilt hanger for it so we can place it on our wall in our hallway, where no one can reach it.
Gini, thank you for your gratefulness. I am very proud of all of them.
