My First Quilt Top

As I have told several of yall, I am a new quilter.  I started quilting in March of 2011.  This is the very first quilt top I ever made.  And today, I finally quilted it.  Even though I only stitched in the ditch, I still am proud of it.  Hope everyone likes it too.

OMG!!  My first was a pink and white 4X4 horror that the person I gave it to hid in her guest room.  This is amazing!! - Debbie

WOW!!  That is an amazing first quilt.  I chose a small baby quilt with simple blocks for my first.  You should be very proud of that as it is beautiful.

You've already accomplished great things with your quilting. This is beautiful. "ONLY stitch in the ditch" Indeed!! That's not all that easy.

Nicely done.  I did SITD with my Bargello too.  Are you in the Bargello group?  It's a little slow in there right now, but these are such amazing quilts.  I see you avoided one of the mistakes I made.  How many fabrics did you use, 14?  I think you did great picking your colors and I like your borders too.  So if this is your first, how many have done while this one was waiting to be finished?

I am impressed. I made one a few years back and vowed to never do one again. So cudoes to you for it being your first quilt. You did a wonderful job.

This is amazing for a first quilt top. I did one little wall hanging & decided it was more than enough. You did a fantastic job!

I am properly awed. Oh my goodness, what a beautiful quilt, and stitch in the ditch is a great choice so as to leave the colors pristine. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
