This was a sampler quilt  from a class taught by Aby Dolinger in Stuttgart, Germany. This was a 4 part class that I took with a friend for a few months after work. We learned so many new things with this class. We picked up paper piecing, curved piecing and how to make different sized blocks fit together for a great center. i haven't had it quilted yet as I do not have a long arm person here in Heidelberg. Loved taking the class and picking up new skills! Almost all of the fabrics were from my stash except 1 or 2. Thanks for looking.

Love this quilt! Having the different size blocks almost makes it seem like fireworks. The bigger blocks look like they explode from the surface of the quilt. Great job!

tanya, you have done a great job with your sampler.   i love making them, because you learn so much.   you have done a great job with your color selection, too.

Pretty sampler!  I like the dresden plate corners.

Very nice Tanya.  Looks like a great shop, too.  Are you stationed in Heidelberg?  My Hubby served a tour there before I met him.
