I made this kid's quilt for a local charity that I'm involved in.  The Interfaith Hospitality Network is a cooperative of 18 churches that shelter homeless families while they receive training to get back on their feet.  This was my first experience with an apple core template and with making a continuous loop bias binding.  The fabrics I chose are pretty darn busy!  I did a simple meandering stitch for quilting and a quick machine stitching of the binding to get it done on time.

Wow so beautiful. I just bought the template but haven't made an apple core quilt yet. You have inspired me.  Love the colors. Gorgeous.

What a cheerful quilt! Some kid - and his/her family - will have fun playing "I spy" with this. Great job, Nancy :-)

You did a great job Nancy.  I still haven't got my apple cores together from the class I took back in March!  The stripped binding is GREAT!

You did such a good job on it. That will really be nice for a child and will surely make the family happy also.
