I made this quilt for a friend from Michigan. While talking one day she said she wanted something she could hand down generations that showed her family history. I used a pattern by Toby Lischko called French Court. I did free motion embroidery to put her families names and dates on the quilt. This was a first for me and while it isn't perfect; I was proud of the job I did!
