This is side one of a t-shirt quilt I recently made for our nephew. School colors are red and blue. These are 13 inch square of t-shirts from elementary through high school. I used fusible interfacing with 1 inch grid on it. Fused all pieces into place, then folded on lines with right sides together to stitch the seams. This would have been perfect had the fuse lasted! The more I handled it, the more the pieces started coming loose. Ugh! Anyway, for side 2, I would do one column of t-shirt blocks and one column of sashes/cornerstones and then stitch before fusing more in place.
