the pattern called for charm squares.  I had this cute panel of hunter/fishermen where the animals were getting the best of the deal - very cartoon-type people/animals, but really, really cute.  Of course, those squares were 7-1/2" NOT 5".  The quilt is 50% bigger than the pattern (now measures 105"x105").  Used lots of 'stuff' that my husband likes, including the burlap bags that the Anasazi beans we get from Southwest Indians come in.  Had my EleGantt quilting lady do this on her long arm.

Oooo, I love it! The scrappy ones always catch my eye first. So much color, really moves the eye around the top.  Love that you didn't include borders - really looks nice this way!

That is really nice. The random rotating nine patch is a favorite of mine. Now I need to look for that fabric. and the beans

I like the change in values in stars and background - makes parts of them advance or recede almost like they are twinkling!
