This pattern, from one of the Easy as ABC baby quilt books, is one of my favorites--it really IS easy and quick. For this one, my 16 month old granddaughter picked out the monkey fabric. She loves monkeys and makes "ooo ooo ooo" noises. Yes, the child speaks monkey (also wolf) Now we're working on English! Anyway, I gave the quilt to my friend Bonnie, for her first grandchild, a girl, due in July. Bonnie told me that her husband used to call their daughter, "Little Monkey" as a child, since she was always climbing into and on everything! Perfect!!!
