Love FSL! The snowflakes are made using the same embroidery thread in the bobbin so they are two sided. The butterfly is my comparision - made with regular bobbin thread.

I make Christmas ornaments for family when I can - this year I think it's snowflakes.

You could also probably put sets of these together to sell or donate for raffles.  They're very pretty.  I wouldn't mind having  a few.

beautiful, i thought they were tatted til i read bobbin but in tatting i guess you use a bobbin just not the same for machine, well i think they're hand tatted!

Love the lace!  I have that set of snowflake patterns - they work up *so* pretty!  I made those ornaments a while back and they were very popular with the family.  Do several sets - they make awesome gifts!  Especially for that last minute "I have no idea what to give" moments... just pull out a set of these and you're covered.  A drawstring bag makes a great presentation/wrapping and is also nice for storage.
