Ta-Da! My first Stack & Whack quilt. This is going to be for me, myself, & I. I'll hopefully get it sandwiched & basted this weekend so I can start the quilting process in class on Monday evening. My plan (and I use that term very loosely as I have never stippled before - so I gotta practice, practice, practice) is to stipple the tan areas and stitch in the ditch around and along the fan seams. I'm not sure what I'll do on the border yet.

Beautiful, Sheila, and I mean that sincerely!  I've done one stack 'n whack and if I ever do another, it will definitely be in this fan design.  Thanks for sharing!

Great quilt Sheila!!!  Please post it again after you get it quilted.  I'd love to see how you do it.

Sheila,

This is the prettiest stack and whack I have ever seen. I love the fan design and the fabrics you used. It gives it such an asian flair. Beautiful.

This is fantastic.  After looking at your kaleidoscope quilt and this one, I wondered if you got the ideas from the book Mirror Manipulations, Hidden Images-Unique Quilts.  She had fan designs with hers as well.  But now I see you said it is stack and whack technique, which came up much later.
