This is a quilt that I made for my best friend Shawnna whom was walking for her sixth time in the November 2009 Susan G Komen 3 day walk in Dallas, Texas.  Although the entry fees are high she hits the pavement hard for months with different ways of fundraising.  In order to help her raise the funds needed I machine pieced this top together and it was quilted by the lovely ladies at Past Time Fabrics, Gainesville, Texas where Karen Brooks and her talented staff did the meandering stitch all over helping me create this animal print delight.  I am not sure where I came up with the name actually it just popped in to my mind while making the blocks.  She was delighted to receive it and although I am unsure of the funds that it raised I was happy with the final result.  Thanks for looking.
