This large wall hanging is a machine-appliqued Baltimore. I took two classes to learn the techniques. It is quilted in a cross-hatch on a domestic machine.

Cross-hatch quilting consists of even lines of diagonal quilting across the quilt. Then  quilt even lines diagonally so they are perpendicular to the first set of lines. It's hard to explain without being able to draw it!
