My first quilt project was a Kaffe kit purchased from Tennessee Quilts, Jonesboro, TN. The kit included all materials for the quilt top and instructions for cutting and assembly. I purchased the back Kaffe fabric from Fabric.com. I had the throw quilted at a local quilt shop, and was thrilled with the finished product. Although a bit pricey, I found the kit an easy beginner's project. Kaffe fabrics are some of my favorites, with batiks being my second choice.
