I designed this queen size maple leaf pattern and used my own sewing machine to free motion quilt it.

wow !! love the colors it kind of works for all seasons  and for some reason makes me think of chewing gum i'm having one of those brain blocks but the one with the colorful stripes.    how long have you been making quilts?  have you entered any contests, are you in a quilt group?

To answer your questions...

I used fusible to applique the leaf stems and ran a decorative stitch down the center of each stem. The leaves are machine pieced.

I have been quilting for about a year and haven't entered any contests or joined any quilt groups.. yet.

Thank you for all the compliments, I really enjoyed making this quilt.
