we made this for friends who had grown up and lived in Japan. I discovered that working with satins was not my thing. And the directions for doing this as a bargello were really hard to understand - I got help from the ladies at Quality Sewing.

I think you did a great job with the satin. I know that kind of material is difficult to work with.
