God's Breath, the Wind

I did this hanging for my daughter-in-law, Elke,  who just loved bright colors.  She lived about a year after I gave it to her.  Although her husband remarried the quilt is still hanging in their house.  It is the Jacobean design done in needle turn applique.

This is really pretty, Emily.  Sorry about your friend, but it's a nice reminder of her life, isn't it?  How nice the new wife lets it stay.
