Looks like Hand Applique BUT....Super EASY! NO hand work and NO curved piecing

The center of the flower was embroidered on an embroidery machine with pictures of vintage children doing household chores. Solar thread was used. When viewed indoors...it appears to be only a lacy texture. When viewed outdoors....the solar thread is exposed to the sunlight, and changes color...showing the embroidered picture. It is currently being machine quilted on a long arm...using GLOW-In -THE-DARK thread. It will appear to be a normal quilting design, untill you turn off the lights. Then the quilting thread will glow for awhile.

Now that is a really "cool" idea.  Yeah - I know that I am dating myself.  Kids nowadays would probably call it "rad" or some such.  :o)
