The blocks for this quilt were originally put together by my grandmother for her son (my uncle). After she passed away he gave me the blocks and asked me to finish it for him. Unfortunately, life happens so I was not able to finish before he passed away.

I recently purchased a long arm setup and decided that this would be my first project.  Upon completion, I surprised my cousin by sending it to her. She was so surprised and cried when getting it.  She was unaware that I had it and was so very pleased to receive it.

How nice that you were finally able to finish this work of love and gift it to your cousin.  I know she will treasure it.
